The Kerala State Eligibility Test (Kerala SET) is conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology on behalf of the Government of Kerala. Kerala SET is a prestigious eligibility examination for candidates aspiring to secure Assistant Professor positions in colleges and universities within Kerala.

Exam Structure:

- Kerala SET comprises two papers: Paper-I and Paper-II.

- Paper-I is compulsory for all candidates and focuses on assessing teaching and research aptitude, while Paper-II evaluates subject-specific knowledge.

- Paper-I consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks, totaling 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 1 hour.

- Paper-II consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks, totaling 200 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).

- Candidates appearing in the final year of their Master's degree are also eligible to apply.
