The Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (RSET) is conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on behalf of the Government of Rajasthan. RSET is a significant eligibility examination for candidates aspiring to secure Assistant Professor positions in colleges and universities within Rajasthan.
Exam Structure:
RSET comprises two papers: Paper-I and Paper-II.
Paper-I is compulsory for all candidates and focuses on assessing teaching and research aptitude, while Paper-II evaluates subject-specific knowledge.
Paper-I consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks, totaling 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 1 hour.
Paper-II consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 2 marks, totaling 200 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
Candidates appearing in the final year of their Master's degree are also eligible to apply.
